ABOUT MISS BOVILL

Hello everyone!  I am Miss Bovill and this is my first year of teaching.  I currently teach kindergarten, 3rd-grade, and 5th-grade resource.  I graduated from Midland University in 2019 with a degree in elementary and special education.  I'm taking courses to receive my master's in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. I spend my summers in New York (Go Yankees!) at Camp Huntington working with kids and adults with Autism.  When I'm not teaching I love to read, go to the gym, and snuggle with my new cat, Norman.

about miss doan

Welcome to Miss Doan's resource page. This is the fourth year of my teaching career. I have been at King for all four years. I absolutely love teaching here, it is like my second home. I teach resource with Mrs. McTee. I coteach with the third through sixth grade teachers in the areas of math and reading. In the resource room we work on reading interventions and remedial math skills. All students that come to the resource room are verified with a disability and have IEPs. The letters IEP stand for Individualized Education Program, an IEP is a plan for students to work towards while they are at school instead of the general curriculum. All IEPs are online at Infinite Campus and parents are able to view thier students IEPs if they sign up for the parent portal through TAC. I am looking forward to meeting new kids and learning new things this year. Please make sure that you check out the teacher resources page for lots of cool places to visit on the internet to learn and have fun. Please remember to practice math facts and read with your children daily. If we work together we can see our students succeed. If you have any questions feel free to contact me at 457-5723.
